Poised and clad in righteous fury, Coranta wields her blade to part the veil of mendacity. As I felt I was missing a battle-hardened goth, I decided that Scorpio would be the perfect sign to take this role. While creating her, Cancer was always on my mind, as those two are the only arthropods within the zodiac, so I imagined they might be sisters. Considering this, I thought they should be more or less opposites. I knew I wanted Coranta’s wings to be the scorpion’s pincers, so it only made sense that her braid represented the tail and stinger. She stands in a desert, surrounded by relics of a war-torn battlefield. Coranta’s color is the black of pitch.
